It was 10pm SL time when I first saw Leyla Marlowe dancing in the Odds and Ends club. I'd spent the past few days looking for land to build my house on. I was tired. I needed to unwind. The Odds and Ends club looked like the place. A mirror ball was spinning on the ceiling. The DJ was playing Walking on Broken Glass by Eurythmics. Leyla was the only person dancing by herself. (People dance in Second Life by running scripted dancing programs - funky dancing, exotic dancing, tap dancing.) Leyla was wearing tight black and white striped pants. Her white shirt hugged her dark caramel skin. She looked like Beyonce Knowles. I'd had time to work on some cool introductions. I thought Leyla might like to hear one.

"Nice moves," I said. "Ty," Leyla said, dancing on the spot. "What does 'Ty' mean" I asked her.

"Thank you," she said.
