Second Life Community Convention - August 18th-20th (http://www.slconvention.com/)
We’re pleased to announce that the second annual Second Life Community Convention will occur at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, California, from August 18th-20th. We have a preliminary framework of the weekends’ events, and a great team assembled to bring it to you!
Friday, August 18th (6pm - 11pm), the Cowell Theater at the Fort Mason Center:
The evening will feature some of Second Life’s best known live musicians and innovative DJs playing at the theater. The lobby will house appetizers and an open bar, with 2500 square feet (800 meters for those measuring in prims) of room to mingle. The theater has space for 450 avatars, I mean, people. Check out your favorite musicians from Second Life; meet your favorite SLebrities, and share a drink with them! See SL’s most innovative DJs, or just chill out in the lobby; the choice is yours. Arrive in San Fran, get to your hotel, check your bags, and join the rest of us! We’ll open doors at 4pm if you’re early and curious (we’ll make you help us set up!).
