The Multiverse Open Beta platform release is now available. Register with the Multiverse Developer Program, and you will be able to access the downloads here (http://www.multiverse.net/developer/downloads.jsp?cid=4&scid=2).

This release comprises a solid beginning on the complete Multiverse platform, one that we hope will enable experienced engineering teams to begin work on new games and worlds. In addition, your feedback will help us make the platform more accessible to less experienced teams. In the coming months look for further additional features and refinements.

Hi,

is anyone of you currently producing a game/online world using Multiverse? Even if you're just fiddling around with it, I would like to get in touch. I love the idea of Multiverse and although it is a beta and the graphics engine is not the most beautiful, I would like to realize some worlds with it.

I already played around a little with the tools and the Python/Java API. I have an academic background in game design, software engineering and am especially interested in virtual worlds. So if you're like minded and want to check if Multiverse can help us create the next virtual world revolution, just reply :).
