I'm trying to find a MMORPG where there are classes and you can't really deviate too much from it, similar to maplestory or Dungeon Fighter Online. Preferably a grindfest, and I'm not really a fan of PvP. any suggestions?
What MMO has been able to get you to stick around this month /r/MMORPG?
I'm just about to finish my first year of college, and need an MMO to get through this summer. I've played Wow since 2005, however, I simply couldn't get into it anymore since Cata came along. I'm an absolute sucker for PvE, and would prefer an MMO focused on that rather than PvP. I do own Guild Wars 2 and that simply isn't my cup of tea. I also spent a few months on LotRO back when that was in beta and had quite some fun, but got bored and went back to WoW. Any suggestions would be most appreciated, cost doesn't matter to me! Also, if anyone were to tell me how LotRO is doing at the moment that would also be appreciated, as getting back into that may be an option. Thanks!

A curious thing happened as I was strolling through EverQuest II this past week. It seems there was a bit of commotion in the Norrathian community, with races good and evil cheering and dancing in the streets. Personally, I didn't even know Sarnak could move like that! What was the catalyst of this celebration? Why, didn't you hear -- there was news about EverQuest Next! And with the scarcity of that kind of treasure, it's understandable that folks went a'frolicking. But this wasn't just any old news, either. This week, fans learned that Emily "Domino" Taylor, also known as Pentapod, was returning to the EverQuest franchise as the producer for EQ Next.Continue reading The Tattered Notebook: EQ Next scoops up Emily 'Domino' Taylor

It's the final countdown for TUG, with less than a week to go and about $50,000 more needed as of this writing. The development team has penned a penultimate Kickstarter update for fans and would-be fans, compiling several updates and news posts for everyone to read. It covers the care and development of player characters, the use of companions, and the structure of the game servers... all questions to be asked by anyone looking to back the game.Continue reading TUG closes in on its Kickstarter deadline with a new video

The thing about Final Fantasy XIV's crafting is that it's always been an odd mixture of wonderful and terrible, much like the game as a whole. You had crazily interconnected crafts that could be frustrating to level, the simple difficulty of trying to find the items you need, and a minigame that made mass production maddeningly slow. But you also had a real sense of personal craftsmanship, and the complex interplay between quality, durability, and progress meant that your successes or failures were truly your own.Continue reading The Mog Log: Final Fantasy XIV beta phase 1 and 2 - crafting

What are peoples experiences with Playing MMORPG games on Linux?
I currently play Champions of Regnum, but my other choices seem fairly narrow -- The only ones I can find with Native clients are Runescape, Planeshift, Eve Online, and Eternal Lands.
i offer accounts for streamer or youtuber. i am bored of my life. i dont want to play any game. i just want to see videos. i can translate korean and do anything on korean internet. maybe we can promote gaming site with highest, longest, professional quality gaming review videos. if i am not bored, i will make perfect english translations and videos like steparu (better than steparu. even i join exclusive game supporters and offline party or you can come to south korea and do it with me. for example, icarus online pegasus knights supporters).
it is kinda practice. i just watch gameplay reaction videos or streams nowadays and think of new innovative ideas without efforts. i play hounds online netmarble nowadays. they are going to add new maps and Mosque and Arabic zombies in game. anyway if you want to play latest korean games with english translator, send me pm (skype - kforice). i prefer english commentary streamer, yotuber. if we become bigger, we will make highest quality english videos quickly on black desert, bless online, wolfknights online, black sheep online, lineage eternal etc amazing games and sell korean stuff or do some korean service on online and real life oversea.

It's important to get this straight right away: Floid is the horse and Dewitt is the human. And no, I'm not giving you the principle cast of a Saturday morning cartoon; this is one of the more interesting Easter eggs that inhabit Lord of the Rings Online.Continue reading The Road to Mordor: The Adventures of Floid & Dewitt in LotRO

Filing at the department saves time and reduces stress for all participants. Do you know you'll disagree with your friends about a movie or game? Did you eat the last doughnut like a jerk when someone else wanted that doughnut? Put in for the argument in advance and avoid the hassle of having an argument crop up in the middle of an otherwise uneventful evening of amateur machete fights.Continue reading WRUP: Visiting the Department of Inevitable Arguments edition
